Hydraulic Casing Oscillators “Long” Type VRM Series

LEFFER Hydraulic Casing Oscillators offer performance and reliability in challenging pile construction applications. Mounted to a crane, the VRM Series “Long” Hydraulic Casing Oscillators are ideal for boring large diameter, deep piling shafts in variable or indeterminate soil conditions where there is risk of collapse. Individual VRM Series “Long” casing oscillator models are available for casing diameters from 1300 to 3800mm. The design and construction of LEFFER casing oscillators are based on continuous improvement stemming from close cooperation and experience with leading pile foundation companies. Proven through decades of construction experience, LEFFER VRM Series Casing Oscillators are precision engineered to deliver maximum boring speed/drilling productivity, minimize downtime, and years of reliable service.

LEFFER VRM Series “Long” Hydraulic Oscillator Features & Benefits Summary

FeaturesBenefits
5 Link design for casing clamping collar 5 Link design for casing clamping collar Superior casing grip for boring. Exerts “chain-like” constant surface pressure around the circumference of the casing
Tall casing clamping collar (400-700mm) Minimizes damage to casings. Superior casing grip.
Exchangeable reducer piecesOscillator can be converted within minutes for smaller casing diameters on the job site without special tools. Secure clamping for casings below nominal diameter
Uniform collar opening mechanismEasy insertion of casings with cutting shoes
Stress relief processes in manufacturingImproved reliability by eliminating welding stresses
Advanced materials & metallurgyOptimal balance of load, weight, and strength
Low height on excavation sideFaster excavation – easier access to borehole for tools
